Great restaurant. Really really good food. Very friendly staff. Loved it. Am here on vacation and would come back again for sure. Burger was fresh and delicious.
Consistently great food…one of the best in Sooke! May not look like much from the outside but a cozy atmosphere inside. It’s not big, so be sure to call ahead to get a seat during dinner rush. Prime rib on Sunday is amazing, ribs were fabulous…have been multiple times since they opened and never had a bad meal.
Servers put in extra effort to squeeze us in before a reservation which was appreciated on a busy Sunday night. They were turning people away at the doors it was pretty busy. I had a pasta with a bacon wrapped tenderloin with some shrimp in there and the steak was fantastic. Unfortunately the pasta was marginal at best. My wife had a good vegy tandoori dish and the kids menu wasokay with good chicken fingers and ok grilled cheese. The fries were very good. Overall a good experience with a couple dishes that dragged it down. Worth a try for sure.
Love this place! Best service, friendly atmosphere and great food. I don’t mind waiting for a table for a few mins when they treat you so well. Have been there about 8 times – lunch, dinner and special dinner events – definitely no complaints
We experienced a server with no personality or idea of the food being served. It wasn’t a busy time whilst we were there and felt there was no atmosphere. Always give a second chance and that was a huge fail. During both of our experiences the food was not made correctly to order and we tried 5 different items! Its too bad Sooke needs good local restaurants…
Went for the first time last week. When we got there it wasn’t too busy, most tables were empty. Very small and cramped in there. The waitress took our order, when it was served my order was wrong and the waitress looked at me with a blank stare, like she didn’t believe me. It got crazy busy, crazy hot, and people were standing and being served in the middle of the isle. I like to support local business but i highly doubt i will return, Buffys is better, food on par if not better, service is better and its not so cramped/hot. I also felt like the waitress forgot about us for a while because I had no drink through most of my meal, she just walked right passed us, i felt i couldn’t grab her attention. At Buffys my drink is refilled before i get to the last drop, now thats service! It is also quite pricey here!
