While the venue is beautiful and the view of the water creates the perfect setting for a meal we were very unhappy with our experience at the Stickleback. We arrived at just after 1pm and were left waiting to be greeted for several minutes even though the restaurant was not busy. We were drawn to this location for the Cheesy Bannock, but were disappointed to find out that it was more of a cheese toast as opposed to the traditional fry bread. We several minutes after we finished our meal for our bills, so we finally decided to wait at the front desk to be helped, and spent another several minutes before our waitress finally helped us. Overall the food was good, but not worth the price tag and the service leaves a lot to be desired.
I used to love the food here. But now it’s just ok food with a good view. Received a $50 gift card from a friend for Xmas but when I tried to pay for our meals it had a zero balance. I guess the waitress that sold it was either a thief or not very bright. We stopped coming here which is a shame. If it had better management this place would thrive.
