I absolutely adore this place! Great food, great drinks, good prices, and the baristas (especially this one named Mack) are super! My favourite!
I want to like this place. It’s local, it’s independent, it’s got character, it’s somewhere to sit while my partner is shopping next door, and its got a decent used bookstore attached to it. But the fluorescent lights are blinding. It’s like reading in a police station.
Great desserts. Always amazing desserts. Where is the strawberry rhubarb pie?? It was the best I’ve ever eaten! But I haven’t seen it for a couple of years. We always come here when we’re in Sooke. The only recommendation I’d make is hotter milk in the lattes and hot chocolates. Great place! Plus who doesn’t love a bookstore with food?
Delicious coffee and homemade desserts in bookstore environment. Who coula ask for more. Chapters eat your heart out !
