Came here for my birthday with my boyfriend. The restaurant itself along with the view is absolutely stunning, however in contrast, our server was terrible and left us feeling neglected. The bread and butter is usually given within the first 5-10 minutes, however we received it after our dinner was served. He ended up dropping the bread and just placing it back on the plate, so we didn’t end up eating the bread. Not only that, but after realizing he did not bring the bread until we received our entrees he told us that the bread had all finished and that they had to make fresh bread which is why it had taken so long. I don’t think this was true at all due to the bread being cold, it would have been warm and soft if it was fresh from the kitchen. I think he just forgot to bring it and made up an excuse. Not only this, but he did not bring our drinks until after 20 minutes of ordering and he did not check in on us after recieving our appies and entrees from the kitchen staff.I actually don’t think he came too see us after we had given our orders for apples and entrees. We had to go inside and talk to another staff member in order to get our bill after we got tired of waiting. overall, terrible server, but location was good, and food was good as well.
Seasons in the Park is ALL about the view! It is conveniently located on a high point in Queen Elizabeth Park. We absolutely love the view and the setting, especially outdoors on the patio looking over the skyline of Vancouver in the distance. The food is always on point and we have never had a bad meal. The prices are what you would expect for a fine dining restaurant. We recommend this place for a special event like an anniversary and a romantic date – or simply just for the food and view.
January 19 , 2018I Had 1st dine out with parents for lunch today.3 of us had: medium rare new York steak, (but they gave me medium, so they exchanged another juicy medium rare for me); Caesar salad — half size as regular size stella beer smooth and favourable chocolate cakeMedium rare t bone steak — pay $10 extra, my new york steak taste better, they serve well done steak to us instead of medium rare, over cooked/ rough/ dried / tasteless.. they put half lemon beside t bone steak?house salad 2 orders of lemon cake — it’s too sour, hard and taste awfulpistachio crusted ling cod (dried and tasteless) smooth and yummy mushroom soup I didn’t go there at least 10 years, services are way better than before.
QUIET!! most important. NO music playing. Also lots of space between tables. Lots of people talking, but thats normal, theyre just not yelling over the music. Oh and service and food all excellent enough to have an enjoyable evening. My new favourite. Please support quiet eateries.
Brilliant location with spectacular view of the park. Steak was seasoned and seared to perfection with economic price. Service was on point and also has valet service. Could not ask for more!
We reserved a month in advance for a patio for my 93 yr old father. We arruved on time but they gave all the good tables to others that walked in first.Food was passable but way too spicy. The only saving grace was the attentive service and great scenery.
Food is good but a bit salty and the view is good but pretty slow service. Looks like our waitress has too many table to serve. Not attentive enough for the price we pay.
