Little neighbourhood joint that used to be the Elephant pub. Remember it being bigger back then but there is a liquor store next to it now which takes up a quarter of its size. Our first time going on a Friday night. It also happened to be trivia night so that was a bonus. Was a bit disappointing when we arrived right before 6 and most tables were either occupied or reserved for Trivia participants. Luckily one table was free. We made it for some last minute happy hour orders. Spring rolls, fries and beer for $5 each. Menu selection is so-so, but prices are average. They also have daily specials and Fridays is 9oz wine for $6.50. Also have $4 shots everyday. Food overall was OK, nothing special. Nachos were loaded just right but for $19 (added beef), I was expecting something a bit bigger. Daily dinner special for $12.99 was ribs with mashed pot and vegetables. Little stingy on the sides but for $13, its reasonable. Trivia was fun! Seems like the place to be on Friday nights as it was a full house.
This place has surprisingly good breakfast. The menu has thankfully changed for the better a couple times over the last year and a half or so. Also, an okay beer selection.
Bacon Cheddar Burger. Home made six ounce beef burger. Smoked bacon and aged cheddar. On a brioche bun
Great service!! Great pub!!. Every Music bingo Wednesday and Friday Trivia are so much fun! That tall blonde server is off the hook!! Always making me feel welcome and special. Everyone that attends trivia is so much fun. The day server Tracey is AMAZING! Always chatting with me and seems like she loves doing what she does!!Keep it up East Side Craft houseCheers
To the person that gave this wicked bar a bad review. .. well listen to the truth. This place is what a pub should be.the sevice, the food and the people that go there are awesome. .p.s. Tracey and Danielle are two of the finest bartenders/servers that made me feel special and the owners care about your satisfaction
Not very good.. We went here on Friday night. Our server was okay but the food took too long and wasn’t very good. We ordered pints of 311 but they were flat and had to switch our beer orders to Canadian. Meh. Will be sticking to Cedar Cottage, our ‘go to’ pub in this neighbourhood.
Grrreeat place!. East Side Craft House is a fantastic place to meet with friends on any night of the week! Newly renovated, recently crafted menu, you won’t be disappointed! They have nightly events including trivia night on Fridays. The menu is eclectic and the food is great, I particularly like the butter chicken skewers. I hosted a fundraiser party and it went sooo well! Everyone loved the venue, the drinks, and the wonderful service! For neighbourhood cats, check it out, it may be your new favourite spot. And for those of you who are more than a stone’s throw away, it’s definitely worth the trek!
