Prices have gone up drastically while the quality of food has dropped & portions much smaller than in the past: Was there a couple of times last year. Ordered takeout which comes with a 10% discount that wasn’t included-you have to ask for it. If you want napkins, utensils/chopsticks, again, ask for it. It use to be that they would give it. Don’t mind paying more for food but we had ordered several seafood dishes. The seafood was obviously not fresh. Even the rice & noodle dishes tasted a bit ‘off’. Really wanted to like this place because it’s convenient. But, many other places with better service, food, & pricing. If ordering takeout, don’t go by the pricing showing online. Prices have gone UP significantly, as we found out. Good Choice Restaurant was unfortunately not a GOOD choice:(
We do dim sum once a week. This location is not a good choice. We were the first customers for the day. Ordered pan fried pork dumplings, not available. Steamed pork and shrimp dumplings, dry and tasteless. Bean curd roll in oyster sauce, left a lot to be desired. Steamed Shanghai pork dumplings, all wrap and no filling. Spicy deep fried squid, after 45 minutes never did arrive. Menu selection very sparse. Definitely not going back.

Came here after the snow storm! And it was a good choice on a wet Saturday morning. Food was decent definitely better than some of the other Chinese restaurants around the area. Decently priced service was quick and attentive, definitely would come back since it’s close by
Good choice recently set up a booth at the Taiwanese festival this year. I remember getting a fried rice from good choice last year and it was done very well.This year I decided to try their booth. I got the netella cakes and read bean cakes, delicious. Then I got the black pudding cake, it’s definitely designed for a Asian palate. I wouldn’t recommend this for a westerner. Over all the service is excellent and it made me wanting to go back to good choice soon to try the restaurant items out again. I’ll update when I do.
Misunderstanding & Bad Service. We chose this place because I saw it packed with people. But already when my family walked in a situation already started. The waitress/hostess murmured something we didn’t understand. Oh I see you are closing in and hour. Again we did not understand the murmuring. We are taking our time ordering since we’ve never been. We had the seafood fiesta…uh what fiesta? Deep Fried scallops, squid and shrimp no veggies, no fish wow…I swear they were pre-cut frozen seafood and then battered. Uh okay…disappointing and not worth the price. Of course they keep leering at us while we’re trying to eat because they are trying to kick us out, that’s just poor service. Before we are done eating to top it off…she brings thr bill and the card machine standing there forcing us to pay. That was it…just poor poor manners for customer service, if you let a customer in you have to serve them like a any other customer. Bottom line will never go back again. It was a Bad Choice!!!! Sorry for ranting. Even the food couldn’t save them.
Good Chinese dinner. Came with family for dinner as it won some awards for some of their dishes which we tried.Most were pretty good except for the XO fried noodles which didn’t seem to have enough XO sauce in it.Other than that, service was great and attentive.
