I used to come here every so often for samosas and sweets. Their service is always horrible but I found the food ok. One time I had to wait 5 minutes while the guy finished his phone call. I felt unwanted as a customer. I finally realized I should never come back again. They don’t deserve the business!
2016 they still have veggie samosas for 75 cents and meat ones for $1. We bought 8 for a total of $6.30… If I went to UBC and wanted a samosa I would get 2 for that price and they would probably be even smaller. They were so good!!! Makes me wish I bought more so I could stash them for future snacking events. I have yet to try the other foods, was tempted in trying the roti.
Bad service. Owners are very rude and throw you the food
Terrible Service. Ordered butter chicken and naan a while back while having guests over… we found two small rocks in our food (no idea where they would come from) so we called them to notify them and all they said to us was to come pick up a naan … didn’t even offer to deliver it to us or acknowledge it but instead just said pick up ONE naan… never went back since!
Best samosas in the city!
Owner is consistent with the rule of three. As a resident of Fraserview, this place is my guilty pleasure for their pakoras. As of this review, their veggie pakoras are now $0.75/each from $0.50/each in 2013. Their chicken and meat pakoras were still $1.00 each. In the rule of three for restaurants, this restaurant provides good food at good prices with bad service. They’re consistent with this rule and I’m okay with that.In times when I want good food and good service, I’d head to restaurants west of Main Street.
Cheap food but poor customer service. Every time my husband and I go here to get samosas they look down on us we are good customers we go here several times a week the daughter is so rude I can go across the street and get better service then this place
