It was dinner time and my girlfriend mentioned that a new pizza place had opened up on fraser street. Their grand opening special is $10 tax included for any large pizza.YOWZA!!! Hot doggie let’s go check it out.Upon arriving, plenty of parking all around. We step inside and wow the Reno is done very nicely. Small setup with 12 seats, and very friendly service. We ordered the non stop house special and the spicy veggie.While waiting there was a young lady that complained that it was her second time that she returned her pizza because the kitchen screwed up. She waited a total of one hour, she wasn’t happy. I personally think they should’ve given her that pizza for free. Then a family had their order mixed up and had to wait a total of 50 minutes. Upon returning the owner is apologizing. Our order came up, 30 minutes for a Friday night which isn’t so bad. We told the owner we were eating here. She didn’t think about offering napkins or plates. I think her mind was elsewhere with all the kitchen screwups, and you can hear her yelling in the back.Now the final test, how did the pizza taste?Hmm… On the positive side, it wasn’t greasy like pizza hut. On the negative… Perhaps our pizza wasn’t cooked well enough? Our bottom crust was soft. Sometimes when you shove alot of things into a oven it changes the bake time and quality, and since it was chaotic on a Friday night with so many orders, it’s safe to assume that’s what happend. The toppings we had were too little. Taste is good, toppings suffered as well as cook time.It looked very promising and the owner had all the tools to make her buisness flourish. When it came down to organization and quality control… It was a fail. However her positive attitude towards her customers DID NOT BREAK. That is very crucial and good on her. Because of that we may try it one last time and decide if we want to be a returning customer.
