Fast delivery and service. We messed up while placing our order and phoned in to get it fixed. The guy who picked up helped us figure it out but ended up doing it himself anyway. He warned us that it would take long because the deep dish pizza takes longer to bake but it came in 45 minutes. A lot larger than what we would’ve expected but it made for great leftovers the next day.
We were about to give up on ordering before the Canucks game because there was virtually no way anyone would deliver during the game. Kind of our fault too, cause we left it for last minute. My roommate phoned them up and they said they could deliver. Was a little weary but since he was going to pay I just told him to go for it.Make sure you specify before you order, or do it yourself online because we got the deep dish by mistake. I just wanted a normal Margherita but it came out in deep dish style, which wasn’t too bad. Just a little heavy. For a medium it was quite large and had lots of toppings. If you are starving, this is def the place to call.
Decent pizza in the area. I have ordered from them a couple of times and service is actually quite good. Food comes fast and the pizza is actually quite healthy (yes, even the tandoori chicken). Doesn’t feel greasy or leave you with a lingering feel of having eaten something super heavy. Not too keen on trying the deep dish style though.
Finding pizza that claimed to be the real deal from Chicago was a pleasant surprise. Usually the attempts to mimic the original fall short but apparently this one knows what its doing. Our al capone came hot and the taste was pretty close to the original. Zero leftovers meant a happy team. Don’t get disappointed if you want to try something new, menu is pretty extensive and features some odd flavors.
One of the best discoveries I have made recently. Slice of Chicago offers you tons of pizza options, both deep dish and normal crust for you to choose from. Flavours come go from everything like Butter Chicken (which, by the way is the bomb) to Margherita and Italian. Fair pricing and impeccable delivery make it a great choice when you don’t want to cook.
Nice, safe option for pizza in the city. You can tell the pizza is made from scratch as it comes newly made. I usually get the traditional pizza with wings as the deep dish version is a little chunky.ps. My experience is from delivery 100%
Legit deep dish, done right. The house special reminded me of Emmetts back home, and wasn’t all that expensive. The sauce was perfectly zesty, cheese was of high quality and the crust was crunchy but not too hard. I should probably add that it is a 45 min wait for the pizza. Nothing to be alarmed of, as that is how long deep dish normally takes to make.
