Every once in a while, Murphy’s Law rears its perverse head. We arrived at this lovely waterfront wharf restaurant shortly after one o’clock. As we stood in the entryway for about five minutes, the lone server passed by several times without acknowledgement. Finally, we intercepted her and asked about a table. We were told to just take any table. Interestingly, she came pretty quickly to clear and wipe down our table. After we were seated, it was another ten minutes before we received menus. Fifteen minutes later, we placed our orders. Twenty minutes elapsed before we received our drinks, and our chips and salsa appetizer arrived shortly thereafter. Now for those keeping track, we got our first drinks forty-five minutes after we first sat down! Ten minutes later, our burgers showed up, but since there was a problem with one of them, one member of our party had to wait an extra ten minutes. The food was actually pretty decent, and based on the food alone, we could recommend the place, but we must warn you to be ready for a long, long wait.
