we go to this pub every summer while we cruise the Gulf islands and we have been here easely a dozen times or more. .I have to admit that the main attraction here is always the bus ride provided by the humming bird pub. .those of you who have will know what I mean and those of you that don’t I’d advise to put it on you bucket list!!!now having said that I unfortunately have to say that the rest of the pub experience is nowhere near add exciting! !@after what seemed to be a small eternity we finally managed to connect with our server and a compliment would describe her as slightly scattered. ..we orderd fish and chips as it was recommended and so we had both the halibut and the cod. ..when the food finally arrived I was certain there must had been some kind of mistake. ..what we got were two small plates with less than a handful of fries and what looked like 2 small chicken fingers on top. .I thought that this must have been a small child dinner. ..sorry hummingbird pub but I don’t understand how the kitchen could send out food like that. .as I said we have been here many times over the years and pub food had always been just fine here. ..we will come again next year and hope for a better experience
