Quiet afternoon tea on a Tuesday. Cute place with fairly priced fare, but with only one person serving it could get a little inattentive. They were out of lox so I got the savoury tea set with a sandwiches and savoury pastries as well as a pot of floral lychee white tea. The highlight was definitely the salmon mousse sandwich (top left), which was light yet creamy. We also got the scones with cream and jam, which were ok – not up to expectations. Not any different than a coffee shop scone, so couldve been a little lighter. The tea was good, and we really appreciated the care and attention out into the tea service. Although I didn’t have it, the sweet petites fours and classic sandwich are also shown.

Such a cute little find in steveston! The interior is mostly pink, white, and black. They offer high tea for $28 (pretty standard) and it’s presented in a cute pink three tier system. Each guest is given a cute individual pink teapot. I preferred the savories over the sweets but a of it was tasty nonetheless

Disappointed. I was there for the gluten-free high tea. My expectation might be a little high. I spilled my tea and can’t find a piece of napkin around. The tea soaked right through my jean that day. The owner showed up from the kitchen 5 min later and apologized. My tea was served cold from a thermos. I have never in my life have a room temperature tea. The bottom tier are sandwiches, mine are crackers, smoke salmon on an asparagus stalk, smoke salmon on a gluten free cracker, tuna on a cabbage leaf. I am sure there are gluten loaves out there for a substitute. It looks really cheap. The gluten-free scones were not bad, a bit flaky and dried. The top tier which are deserts are horrible. I have never seen a gummy candy served as a desert. There are two brownies and a strawberry with whip. I know I am not going back there again unless the owner makes a big change to their gluten-free menu. The cost for that day was $36. I am very disappointed.

Adorabelle Tea Room. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the food was wonderful, the tea perfect. The decor was attractive and not overly fussy, and the ‘gift shop’ very restrained, carrying a small selection of attractive and interesting items.

High Tea Mother’s Day May 11/14. Although I have not had the pleasure of having High Tea at Adorabelle’s (will be there on Sunday) with two mother’s and two daughters. The comments below are very good and am excited to think that we will want to go again and again. (Men who responded, well, give it a break, High Tea would never suit men, it is for ladies to enjoy and quietly carry on conversations.) I have done Tracey Cakes twice now and can recommend that location as well (Abbotsford and Langley locations only) Also the Little White House in Fort Langley serves a lovely High Tea (very small place, but historic house) We are all excited to go to Adorabelle Tea Room this Sunday.. Steveston is a beautiful village. I was happy to discover it by chance. . Hmmmmmmmm, one hour limit on tables may not be so good.

I went to the tea room with my grandmother and loved it. I will definitely be back. It’s affordable for what it is, the food is tastely and elegant. I would love nothing more then to eventually go with a friend or 2 and enjoy the day.

Fancy Little Treats. High Tea at 12:30 p.m. yesterday (Saturday).Including the followings :- – five tea sandwiches – two fresh baked scones with sweetened cream & strawberry preserves – five house-made petite sweets – individual pot of teaThe place was a bit smaller than expected. All the servers were so friendly.Everything was good. The only drawback is, the duration is limited to 1-hour – too short for High-tea – too rush to finish all the treats when you’d like to chat with friends…
