April, 3, 2018I was planning to eat @ mega sushi, but they fully pack, need to wait at least 45 minutes.. it’s around 8 pm already.. and they closed at 9 pm. So, we went to try ichiro instead.2 points for the services only, but the food quality is not good, over price. toro / uni / tobiko nigiri sushi / real snow crab roll was too small and rice was falling apart.Oysters tempura was not fresh/ too fishy.Prawn tempura batter was too thick and over cook prawnsika sugata yaki (grilled squid) .. they put too much ginger soy sauce to cover the real squid taste;Spicy salmon sashimi portion was too small and gave us left over shredded pieces/ not cubed salmon sashimi, not worth for $13.2 of us paid $120 for those simple dishes. With that price, I rather go to miku with nice view.Extremely noisy @ ichiro. Can’t chat with friend. Not recommended. Won’t go back again.

Used to like this place as one of the better Japanese restaurants but was there yesterday and was really disappointed. They had Oh toro negi roll on special for $10 a roll. The tuna was great but the sushi rice was total crap. Like yesterday’s leftover rice. I felt sorry and ashamed for such a prime fish. Please remember sushi is not really about the fish it is rice.

The place is overpriced and food was mediocre at best. It was fairly busy when we were there. Can’t believe this place was rated 4.1. I won’t be back

I know that this review is on other outlets, but I want to make sure that this story gets to as many people as possible, please spread the word.Let me start this review by saying that Ichiro has very delicious food and great wait staff. For this reason I give them a two instead of a one, but my visit today left me in an incredibly foul mood. The reason for this is a bit of story. The restaurant was mostly full, and I was sat at the sushi bar as the result. I ordered the Chirashi don which comes with noodles, and when I received my order I decided to eat the noodles first. After seeing this, one of the sushi chefs turned to the other and started insulting me for eating the noodles first. They began joking at my expense and one of them even went so far as to call me !As I have a foreign appearance they must have assumed that I couldn’t speak Japanese. That wasn’t the end of it either. They then started speaking badly of all the Chinese customers in the restaurant. Criticizing them and their mannerisms.Behaviour like this truly disgusts me. People have their opinions, but just because you assume that your customers don’t speak the language isn’t an excuse to drop professionalism and say whatever you want.As much as I like the restaurant, I will not be returning. If you must eat there, stay out of the sight of the sushi chefs.

My husband took me here for my belated birthday dinner. Lol Took him a month to take me out for my birthday but its okay haha The food here is not bad . You have to try the dessert here. Its pretty yummy. According to my hubby, he said the seafood are all very fresh and very delicious. The waitress were all very friendly. If you love sushi, you need to come here. Its worth it.

Been here a couple of times with my family because they liked the quality of the food. The quality of the food is really good but the portion is way too small. I ordered a spicy salmon sashimi and it came in an appetizer size. It was disappointing. You can easily spend a couple of hundred dollars if you come in a big group and you will need to make reservations since this place is always packed.
