Some of the people had told us that this was the best fish and chips in Vancouver but unfortunately we didn’t have the same experience. The fish and chips was below average. We have had better fish and chips at other places in Vancouver than this. The location is pretty , right on the water but the fish itself was oily and not crispy but the worst were the chips, you can get way better fries at Costco. The thin batter on the fish wasn’t too crisp, we didnt feel like squeezing a lemon to make it soggy. These fries were below average. And I don’t know if we got bad batch but most of the fries were broken and like tiny crumbs left at the bottom. Not worth it. Real disappointment. foodiemuggles.com
The is the place to get great fish and chips. I usually get the order for three different fishes. (1 halibut, 1 cod and 1 salmon). So delicious!!! You should definitely get the coleslaw. It is creamy and crispy at the same time. The location at the pier is perfection. Beautiful clear day for fish and chips. The only cons is sometimes you cannot get a place to sit and eat because it is usually busy. The prices are on the high side but the food is worth it. The incident with the gangway collapse is not good at all. I hope the people on the gangway were not hurt too seriously. Highly recommended!!!
Amazing! The best fish and chips The batter is just right, not too thick but not too thin. Their tarter sauce is very savoury as well. Highly recommend stephykeung.com
This place was recommended by some family friends who have had good experiences here but if have to say mine was okay. The portions are pretty big and the fries were tasty but the fish was a little bland. I also had the clam chowder which I liked. We had good service and I would consider coming here again.
Queing for almost one hour for the famous fish and chips ,,, i think this pajos’s is OVERATED…….. nothing special about this. Im not from the competitor. Hihihihi
No trip to Storybrooke is complete without some good eats. Specifically, something with seafood!Pajos is a very popular fish and chippery and has both a location at the Steveston Wharf and at nearby Garry Point. On a recent outing in March, we stopped by the wharf with Sophie for some Halibut and Chips and Seafood Chowder. Sophie was mainly interested in the fries (like she always is).Stevestons a great place to take your dog for a walk (although theyre not allowed on the wharf). pennyandrusty.wordpress.com
Finally got around to trying Pajo’s today, as it seems to be one of the more popular fish and chip places here. It is located in steveston but i do believe they have other locations as well, I’ve only been to the one location. I ordered the 2 piece cod with chips and yes… the fries are not that great. They lack a lot, in fact the fries are kinda bland and have little crisp to them. As for the fish, i really enjoyed the batter as it was light and airy. I would definitely recommend Go fish over this place if you want some really food fish and chips though.
