Came in for a quick bite. Service was good but food was below mediocre for the price. The negitoro tasted like the fish was going bad.. or is already bad. I didn’t like having sesame seeds on the negitoro either. It’s something unusual as I order this literally every sushi place I go to and no one else does it probably because it just doesn’t go well at all. The Alaskan roll was so bland even with all the sauce they put on top. Not coming back!

Please hear me out on this one I am being 100% honest. While working there, the owner, Laura picked out uneatten sashimi from the TRASH and washed themthan put on thema plate and served it! I was so disgusted by this act. Also the kitchen is a hell hole. Some products are expired for weeks even months. cockroaches roam the stoves and sink area. I made a video and already reported this issue to the health department, i hope to see they shut down soon! I am making this review because i do not want anyone getting sick from eatting at this place, I have no reason to be lying. If you still insist on going there i suggest you sneak into the kitchen and check it out before you eat! These people who only cares about making money and not the health of customers should not be allowed in the food business. IF ANYONE WANTS TO SEE A VIDEO OF THE OWNERS PICKING OUT FROM THE GARBAGE AND PUTTING THEM ON THE PLATE TO SERVE I HAVE IT!–AgainI REALLY do not want to see people getting sick from this!
WARNING!!! EVEN if you would give me money to eat at this restaurant I would not go. I wish I can rate this restaurant negative stars because it TRULY was a terrible experience. The food was terrible and so was the chef’s demeanor. Please do not waste your money or time buying this Groupon deal to go to this restaurant. Let this be a warning to others!!!!! Worst dining experience in my lifetime!!!
This place is horrible and unethical. There is a review that stated they hardly tasted any lobster in the lobster tempura as part of the Social Shopper coupon, that is because there is no lobster in it. They serve us a shrimp tempura roll when the social shopper says it is a lobster tempura. Wepulledthe shrimp out of the tempura and called them out on itand it and they flat out denied it and said it was lobster. I know the difference between a shrimp and a lobster.
Terrible. It was one of the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Do not get the social shopper’s coupon. It was not worth $20 cad / person. We got ripped off. We will never go back to the restaurant. The picture shown below shows for 2 people except the miso soup, salad and icecream. Yes, why is this worth $20 / person ?
