So wanted to eat some Indian at Vancouver and this was recommended by friends. Small basic place that serves North Indian food and chaats, and seemed to be quite popular given the long queues. Food was alright though the chaat could be better but definitely an area of improvement is the service. Even if it’s a family run establishment, you’d expect some level of professional service which is nonexistent here.
Very bad experience on most fronts. Staff not trained at all. Ordered some food with kulfi(dessert) and specifically asked them to get the kulfi after the food and guess what. The first thing to be served was the kulfi.Bhatura’s were very oily, could not finish. Even the most popular item, the papri chaat was so bland and worthless.Indo chinese food was a total disaster. Do not think they or the chef really know how that kind of food tastes like, not even the right ingredients were used. For gravy it was just corn starch and ketchup/hot sauce.Never ever going there again.
