Ordered Saganaki (12.95), village chicken (20.95), a large Greek salad (13.95), and added chicken to the salad (???). Yet somehow our order came out to $78 (~69 before tax). Will not be returning. Will not ever recommend. I don’t know how adding chicken to a salad could possibly cost $21. Absolutely ridiculous.

I agree with Erin Lowbelow! My friend and I ordered the house white wine, which was nice. We also had chicken and lamb souvlaki. Typical Greek fare, but executed perfectly. Left very satisfied and very full…

I found this restaurant by chance. I was very impressed! The decor is a bit tacky but to me, charming. It made me feel like I was in Greece! Our server was helpful and provided suggestions. My friend and I ordered a lot of food and she warned us but we still did it! We knew we wanted leftovers! We ordered cocktails that were reasonably priced, $6 each. For appetizers, we got the calamari and dolmades. The calamari was fresh and was served with tzatziki (duh). The dolmades were served in a bechamel sauce, which I found a bit odd and unnecessary, but they tasted good. They were a bit soft too, like the rice made a little to mushy. For dinner, my friend ordered the Moussaka and I got the Souvlaki Platter. The Moussaka was perfect! It was well seasoned, all the elements were done well. The sauce on top, the eggplant. It was so good! The seafood on the souvlaki platter was well cooked. I was surprised because scallops on a grill usually means rubber… They serve everything with rice pilaf, potato, roasted veg and greek salad. All of which were great! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant!

The quality is good. Hello, I read the responses here and this is what I have to say. It is true, the souvlaki needs more marinating — but even though the quality of meat is very high, especially the chicken compared to a Chinese or Vietnamese restaurant. Vegetables are good quality as wellThe tzatziki sauce is a bit thick, but then again can tell the quality is highThe calamari they can cook longer so it is crisp, maybe there is a better oil like Sunflower Everything needs a bit more marinating, I hope the restaurant owner reads thisIt does take a long time to receive the order if the restaurant is full ..expect 40minutes, so order an appetizer and ask them to serve it first right away if you are hungry

Great food! Exceptional Service!. Went to the Greek Village on Saturday night can honestly say its the best Greek food I’ve ever had! We ordered the kalamari the saganaki to start. The kalamari was crispy and delicious. Full of flavour! The saganaki was flamed at the table. One word perfection! We ordered chicken souvlaki, roast lamb and moussaka for dinner. F ood was delicious! Portions were huge! Finished with a baclava and coffee. Can’t wait to go back! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT!

WORST I’VE HAD… There weren’t many customers but we decided to give it a try. The setting was not pleasing. They used tablecloths that looked like they were for picnics. We ordered chicken soulvaki, calamari, and one of their lamb dishes. Because the food wasn’t cheap, we expected the food to be really good. The calamari was served first. Although it wasn’t THAT bad, it wasn’t good either. I’ve had better calamari at a VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT than this so called Greek place. The calamari was soggy and not crunchy at all. The batter didn’t even stay on the squid so it would just fall apart. As well, the tzatziki was so thick that it wouldn’t even stick onto the calamari. But that aside, it was still edible and the portion was big.The chicken soulvaki and lamb dish was disgusting.. The chicken soulvaki had no taste; it was not marinated and tasted as if it was just plain grilled chicken. The rice was soggy and soaked in some kind of water or sauce which made it sloppy and hard to eat. The lamb tasted like stewed beef and the tomato sauce was a water-consistency. For a place that charges 15+ per entree, I expected a lot more from them. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless you would like to try food that is a total disgrace to Greek food. Although the portions were big, the food was horrible. The total came to $50 and I can honestly say it was the worst $50 I’ve ever spent on. Hell, I made this account just so I could give this place a thumbs down.
