Dine in is fairly swanky for Indian restaurants in Surrey. They do their staples like palka paneer, butter chicken well….good sign restaurant is good. Their Afghani chicken and Batura bread are the unique item that really won me over.
There ambience is good. Quite spacious restaurant, nice concept and very pleasant atmosphere. Just as we sat at the table they served us mango lassi which was delicious. We ordered paneer tikka and papdi chaat for snacks. The snacks did not meet my expectation. Both lacked originality, had bland taste. Snacks needs improvement. In main course we ordered kadhai paneer, dal makhni and malai kofta with lacha prantha. Trust me it was one of the best indian main course i had in Vancouver. The bread was amazingly soft, dishes had exclusive taste. The dal makhni was close to bukhara style,very well boiled and not too thick, kadhai paneer was not that spicy but very well roasted and cooked and lastly the malai kofta gravy had the perfect blend of spices. I would definitely be going back for another dinner at this place. Service was amazing. Overall a wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend this place.
