Fresh ingredients and friendly staff make Sushi Topia one of my favourite places to eat out. The House Roll is a must-try, and they only serve real (not dyed pink) ginger.
One of THE best sushi places to try! The custom sushi rolls are unique, and everything on the menu are fresh and high quality. Heck the green tea is high quality! And it’s very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is very modern and private. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. If you like sushi and/or Japanese food, definitely try this place.
Friendly place, waiters were constantly helpful and refilled all drinks when they noticed was empty. Food was presented nicely, so I thought that maybe it wouldn’t taste as good. Was very surprised to find out food was pretty good. Will definitely come back again!!

Great sushi. Being a fan for sushi, I’m a regular, and I’ve tried several good sushi restaurants in Richmond, Delta and Surrey. The staff and food at Sushi Topia are not topped anywhere I’ve eaten. The very friendly service combined with excellent portions, and fresh, well prepared sushi, is consistently great. Prices are also very competitive given the quality and quantity. I wouldn’t eat sushi anywhere else.
Great food SLOOOOOOW service. The food is fantastic here, the restaurant is clean and the chef is friendly and always remembers who you are. Here’s the but – as much as we love the food here, we won’t be go back for awhile because the service is incredibly slow, so slow its painful and it ruins your entire dining out experience as you have to ask for everything from chopsticks, napkins and watch the waitress (who is so friendly and polite) do everything but bring you your food, even when its sitting right there!
Dissapointed – I love sushi & go for it at least once or twice each week. I brought my 2 sons (who also love sushi) & we tried quite a variety of items. Each of us found the fare disappointing – odd & unpleasant flavour of cinnamon oatmeal found in several rolls – a sweet touch that did not belong in sushi. We had several rolls, tempura, sashimi & found it was not nearly as fresh tasting nor as generous in portions as Close by Kami Sushi. We did not enjoy & have not gone back. We have tried SushiWara across the street twice & found it preferable & enjoyed Akari just up the street much more though Kami clearly beats them all by leaps & bounds. Unfortunate as this place is just one block from my house & I wanted to love it. The sweet cinnamon flavouring was definitely a turn off.
