In search of a new place for Saturday breakfast after the Plaza Cafe closed I stumbled across Cafe Bonjour.WowIts Hilariously weird, from the Fallout 4 soundtrack playing, a row of 90s potboiler books and of course the location in the tunnels Service was friendly and they gladly let me and my friend sit and chat long after our mealI had French toast, he had pancakes, both were good and the price was great. Bacon was over cooked to my taste but my friend liked hisCoffee was fresh and decent Not only will I go again, this is my new Saturday morning joint!
Fantastic Cafe! We discovered this place when trying to find a place that sells crepes locally. Prices and food were FANTASTIC, highly recommend. We had a chefs burger, chocolate hazlenut cake and a roast beef sandwich, everything was delicious. staff was very friendly and kind! Highly recommend!
I just moved into the apartment complex near this cafe and decided to bring my girlfriend with me for lunch. She ordered the burger with caesar salad, I ordered a savoury crepe. Both of us had hot chocolate to drink. We also shared a nutella/almond crepe for dessert. All I can say is that the food here is simple, cheap, but wonderful. Definitely coming back!
Cosy Friendly Cafe. This is a cosy little cafe in the basement level of the Lougheed Village Apartments. The ambience is homely and the owners, Ringo and Flora, are super friendly. The prices are reasonable and service is very good. My favourites are grilled bacon and cheese for breakfast, devilled eggs for lunch and curry beef on rice or crispy chow mein for dinner.
