Hidden away in a little industrial complex (like a lot of great microbreweries), walking into Dageraad is a fun experience. The place has high ceilings and a nice open concept. But the real treat is the beer! There are a ton of good choices but the Blonde really sticks out in my mind as something worth the trek for all by itself. It’s ridiculously smooth for something at that alcohol level. The only downside to the place is that there aren’t that many food options inside or nearby, so plan around that.
Tiny little place tucked into a corner, little more than a 5 minute walk from Production Skytrain Station. 4 beers on tap at a time, and basic tap room finger food. Burnabarian was okay, but the 8 degrees was the best of their beers! Service was friendly and the picnic tables were nice…although i fell out of mine while trying to get up, hahaha. Great little brewery with friendly staff and tasty beer. I’d give it a 4 if they had food on offer and if it wasn’t so out of the way! They fill growlers and the bartender gave us a quick tour of the brewery which was great. Try their De Witte brew, my favourite.
