If your looking for cheap sushi sure.. Service is quick.. The place is always empty.. The sushi lacks in taste and the rolls are rolled out poorly.. It’s not a bad place to grab a quick sushi bite but it’s not exactly something I would choose to take my friends s our to eat at..
Decent sushi if you’re in a rush. Not the greatest suhsi place, but will do if you’re in a rush. Their salmon sashimi is quite good, better than most places I have been. However, their teriyaki chicken – in any form – is not recommended. The chicken they use is clearly lacking in quality because there are always chunks of fat and tendons and whatever else in them.
Great!. I love this place! I almost always get the California Bento Box. It’s a lot of food for the price and it’s quite tasty. Mind you, I’m really not a sushi connoisseur. A few co-workers and myself go in almost every week. We call ahead of time as our lunch break isn’t very long. They always have a table prepared for us with our food. Everyone there is so friendly and quite attentive to their patrons. I’ve tried a few sushi places in the area and I definitely like this place the most.
Super friendly and yummy. I have been eating at sushi kaku every week for months — the sushi is consistently delicious, and the welcome is fantastic. The couple that owns the store (and their two adorable daughters) are always quick to welcome me and offer some tea. Try the yam roll — it’s covered in sticky teriyaki sauce! Delicious.
Is Tuna sashimi supposed to taste fishy and have a green tint to it?
