WOW!! Can’t believe the negative reviews. We ate here with a group of 10 on October 8, 2017. The staff were very accommodating and the waiter was very attentive (noticed the same attention to other tables as well). We ordered the Dinner for 8 and the portions were more than ample, took lots home. We all found the food very hot and tasty, would definitely return. We left completely satisfied! BTW, we had take-out 2 weeks previously and it was great!
Just called and very rude customer service…. asked about an item on take out menu ( which the young lady I was talking to didnt know they had ) was put on hold they didnt realize that I could hear everything they were saying … I had been polite so I dont understand the rudeness…. cancelled order…
So incredibly disappointed that the management has changed and that the new management has decided not to follow in the previously highly successful managers footprints.
Have been eating at this spot for over ten years. They did a renovation a few years ago and it has gone straight down hill. We ordered tonight June 7, and it was honestly garbage! The sweet and sour pork was hard the chicken and shrimps as far as I can tell of the lowest quality. I love Chinese food, do not eat here.
Ordered a few dishes and was disappointed in all. What a waste of $55.00…almost everything was bland. Veggies were not fresh, pale in colour, looked and tasted like slop. The curry shrimp was bland as ever, the chef was so heavy handed with the starch…the sauce was so thick it was gelatinous – you literally had to scrape a layer of it off to get to the rice. However the beef noodles weren’t bland… they were salty. Tossed everything into organics…hate wasting food but this was not edible.Not sure if they changed the chef but I used to come here often and it was way better but now the quality and flavours have changed for the worst.So many inconsistencies with this establishment whether dine in or take out, it just doesn’t seem to be getting better. It’s too bad bc I would recommend this place for decent Chinese cuisine in South Surrey/White Rock but not anymore…i won’t be returning.
So disappointed use to be great until Chinese lightning hit a few years ago and they renovated. We had -kW fried rice, —bland-S&S prawns, —medium size shrimp with tails removes and very lightly breaded-honey garlic pork,— shoe leather with honey, missed the garlic totally -vegi chop suey,— ok low on flavor bland-wonton soup.— Tasted like canned broth -wontons good -Take out for 60.00And they didn’t even throw a fortune cookie in the bag (Chinese version of screwed without a kiss I guess)I’ve been a customer since 2002 and won’t ever go back
