This resturant used to be our favourite since 3 years ago. But we were repeatedly (about 4 visits) disappointed over last half year, and we decided to NEVER GO BACK again. We were ignored by staff, had to wave many times for service, and the food quality lowered by miles, sashimi was not fresh (taste and smell weird). Portion of the food had reduced. We got no apology when we mentioned the food was not fresh. I truly don’t understand how this resturant changed from our No.1 to Never go again.
Probably the best sushi restaurant in B.C.Price is very very affordable, authentic deco, and most importantly! very fresh.I usually do not write a review but I was lucky to find out this place, and I would always go to Maguroguy for my sushi day. There are some waits but it just means that this place is very popular and usually busy so you can wait a bit and then you can enjoy their wonderful fresh sushi and kitchen food. My favorite is probably their new Set menu – you have to try them – and obviously their Trademark – Hot Stone Beef. Amazing!! Thumbs up!!
