not a bad place. not a great place. real typical sushi menu but there are a few surprises here and there. aburi is always a welcome touch. would i go back? yeah but it’s not a destination place. seams like a place for newbs. someone asked what a dynamite roll was and the couple beside me ordered a california roll with a california cone. odd.
Hands down Yamako makes thee best Philadelphia rolls I have ever eaten. 10/10 all day long! Their rolls have always been fresh, tasty and affordable.
Favourite place for sushi in South Surrey. Excellent food and friendly staff. Have yet to be disappointed by this place. Prices are not as insane as some of the other equally delicious sushi restaurants in the area also.
While the food was adequate, the people working there sat and had their dinner while we were having ours. I felt like I was intruding by asking for something. Also had to ask for water refill. Not sure it’s the best in town. But then choice is slim these days.
Best Sushi in Town. Yamako Sushi is my all time favorite.Excellent service and food, especially the rolls every roll tasted amazing, and their lunch box is the best value for your money if you like to try everything (roll, tempura, soup, teriyaki, and salad). If you ever get a chance to go to White Rock, I strongly recommend this place.

OMG <3. So i went this restaurant with my family and OMG just the service, the food and everything else was SO GOOD ve almost tried the sushi restaurant in surrey and white rock and in my opinion YAMAKO WAS THE BEST OUT OF ALL THE OTHER SUSHI RESTAURANT 🙂 I REALLY RECOMMEND TO GO TO THIS PLACE AND EAT
