Panos is located on Marine Drive near the bottom of Fraser St. Their lamb shank is very tender and flavourful. The guy that owns the restaurant is always there and servers are nice. He brings in a lot of his friends, making it feel like a real neighbourhood restaurant. Highly recommended for any occasion.
Ordered delivery. We shared the Panos for 2 platter. Everything tasted like it was 3 days old and heated up in a microwave. The Greek salad was ok…hard to mess that up. I will not be returning. Disappointing. Threw most of it in the garbage.
This was my favourite Greek restaurant until today. We ordered food (kleftiko and padaika) for takeout and it was horrible experience. The portion for all four dishes were half of size at restaurant. My padaika was four pieces of lamb chops when eating at the restaurant but only three pieces when takeout. The meat was very dry and taste old. The ruce was so little for all four dishes comparing to when eating at the restaurant. It is an absolute joke how they treat customers when ordering takeout. I’ll go somewhere else for Greek food.
I used to come to this restaurant as a kid when the chef was also the owner, but unfortunately he passed away. Ever since then the food and service declined. It’s an okay place, I will only go if I’m really craving greek food since this is a few minutes away from my house.
Good food but horrible management and service. I ordered for delivery and was told 45min to one hour. 80 min later, I didn’t receive anything so I called and they told me they were busy and forgot the order. I didn’t get my order until almost 2 hours later! Pretty unacceptable if you ask me. On top of that, the roast lamb I got barely had any meat in it. It was mostly bone.
Horrible horrible horrible service! Went here for lunch and waited 30 mins for a soup! Asked the waitress about how long it would take for our entrees and she didn’t even reply and just walked off. So rude! So unprofessional! I ended up getting up and just leaving. I do not recommend this place at all!
