After spending quite a few years in Vancouver, and having access to so much good sushi at a low price, I have learned not to expect too much from sushi restaurants in the North. When Mr. Sushi opened I heard rave reviews of how good it is. The first time I went to Mr. Sushi I dined in. Our rolls were good. They were cut very large though. We had chicken wings which were good. The staff was friendly. I recently ordered take out from there and was shocked at the price our three rolls came to. I also ordered a green salad which I love from Japanese restaurants. But in fact, the lettuce I am sure was Costco’s organic greens and the sesame dressing was from a bottle. Mr. Sushi is not a bad option if you are in the area, but I won’t be making any special trips up here. There is better sushi in town at better prices.
