Heard that they got of to a bad start but tried them in August and have been back 4 times since! Their food is impeccable. We have tried the pad Thai which is amazing, the chick pea yellow curry, the curry fries which are to die for and the mango fried rice! They make a great drink too and always have a drink special on. My favorite has been the mango pure mojito. The service has always been excellent. We has taken 4 friends now and each are hooked. If you tried them before when they first for started and haven’t tried them since I would urge you to try again. I was weary of trying them because of past reviews but I am so glad we did. It’s our go to place now

Sawadee? More like Sawadon’tbother. Bland-as-all-hell green curry. Green curry is a staple of thai food. If you can’t get that right, you’re not a Thai restaurant.Watery, flavourless, thin, barely spicy with suspect chicken pieces. I had to add a bunch of pepper oil (credit for having some) just so I could feel like I was eating something.The beer was cold and the service was good, but FFS, if you can’t make decent green or red curry (my wife had the red) you can’t call yourself Thai.
Initial opening efforts didn’t pan out but since January Spice Root has kicked in some serious effort – the food, service and atmosphere are all top notch. Not blow your mind Thai food but very very solid and getting better weekly it seems. The drinks are exceptional. Overall an excellent night out, definitely worth while.
The thai place that can’t make thai food. I’m not sure what drove the owners to open a thai restaurant despite the fact that they can’t cook thai food….nice atmosphere for a drink though.
My husband and I were very impressed with the service and the food was fantastic. If you like Thai fusion food this is the place to go. We will definitely be going back.
