When I went there they served me some warm tea, when I was eating they came over to ask me if I was enjoying it and I was because it just has so many different flavours in the sushi. I recommend this place to all the sushi lovers out there.
Located in a tranquil part of Rmd’s Terra Nova, a bit posh area w/ its own plaza: Save on Foods.anyways, let’s get on w/ the food. Ordered the spicy tuna roll w/ its own house sauce, nice and high, yet not too big, and fresh avocado. that’s the secret. Highly recommended, their signature roll. 8 pieces too, so should fill you up for lunch.Like the seating by the window..Richmond yelpers will be lucky to have this one here, it’s downtown quality.People thought your review was:
From service to sushi, with the choices around in Richmond and Vancouver, it is fair to say that there are other places that can do much better for their price. The quality is below average.
Had such a bad experience at hananoki sushi trying to use my @groupon – they didn’t want to honor it .. I often come here for lunch for work. While the food here isn’t always the best, it is the convenience that win me over. Today I came here with colleagues and we had purchased the Groupon offered. We inquired upon our arrival if there were any restrictions or menu limitations for the Groupon for 4 person; we had 3 people. We were told there was none. We ordered 4 full size menu items. Upon checking the bill, our Groupon was not honored. We were told there had to be 4 people even tho we had specifically inquired on this fact. In the end it was a bunch of he said / she said mumbo jumbo that we eventually asked a random stranger to sit at our table so the restaurant would honor our Groupon. We even asked why don’t they just honor the face value of the Groupon purchased. She said no.Our waitress ignored us. Finally when it came time for our bill to be adjusted – she said we needed to order more food. Sorry. This sounds most like a scam than anything.We asked to speak with the restaurant manager but was told he was not available.Btw – our sashimi was not very fresh and quite mushy. nomss.com

After ordering from hananoki via just eat the restaurant really urged me to call directly to order. So I did the following time and not only did the lady on the phone barely speak English, she was also rushing and didn’t mark my phone number or address down properly. I did my best to tell her my proper address and she said to wait 45. half hour later I get a call basically saying I gave her the wrong address and she hung up. so no sushi for my family tonight, wouldn’t recommend this place after that.
I like it. The food was good. Ordered dragon roll, house roll, some suishi and salmon sashimi. Service and price was decent. Showed my qooway card and got extra 10% off and free dessert. Good place to go if u have the card!
