A must try for those that want to try authentic Vietnamese food. The ambience is very refreshing and soothing to the eye. The staff is very helpful for those that don’t know what to order. Coming to the most important part, the food. The food was cooked just right and spiced to my liking. The menu has a decent amount of dishes and the quantity of each dish is pretty large. The special fried rice and the mixed seafood platter were personally my two favourites. Basically, the service is a total value for your money
Love the food here, all the appetizer are yummy, the employees are very friendly, the decoration is very nice and modern, store is cleaning and lovely!
There were alot of mixed reviews on the pho broth here. Since it was sunny and I wanted something easy to eat on the go, with my husky pup and girlfriend. We decided to grab their version of the vietnamese pad thai. Now I know what your thinking, duuuuuude fusion is crap and ya dee ya. But honestly it was pretty decent for food on the go… Even I was a bit surprised. The rice noodle were prepped nicely, a bit of bite but still soft. The sauce is sweet, sour, tangy. There’s a nice crunch with the raw sprouts, aromatics and essance with the basil, touch of garlic with the stir fried prawns… Man. This was comforting while watching the sundown on a warm windy day at the marina.I would recommend this dish to anyone? Yes. As for wow factor? It was close, real close, but no cigar yet. I’ll come back to try their pho dishes. Customer service is excellent and very hospitable. They were afraid I was cold and even invited our husky pup inside at the front. Really nice of them. But since it wasn’t that bad, out of respect for their patrons eating, I decided to wait outside.
Came here with family and some friends and decided to try it out. Quite pricey for pho, portions were very little for a large bowl. I swear the only difference between their small and large is the different size of bowls. Taste wasn’t quite up there either. Good service though, that was about the only good part.
My husband and I have eaten here a number of times and everytime we came the service was great, the food was fresh and the atmosphere was clean. Considering we live close by it is a go to for us.
I love their pho broth- so flavourful, not that fatty and hits you right in the spot. Service is always great and the place is very clean and modern.
Terrible pho. It was definately a mistake to come here but we were hungry and tired and this was a choice based on it conveniently being steps from our feet. The overall decor of the restaurant is nice though but it doesn’t make up for the underwhelming meal we ate. This $30 mistake would have been avoided had I just checked the internet. I ordered a large rare beef noodle soup and it was just terrible. The entire order was lacking in flavor and the noodles and accompanying beef slices were way too overcooked. My rare beef slices came immersed in soup all clumped together in a grey mass resembling chunky pieces of pork instead. The meat was tender but lacked any flavor. Portion size was also an issue as my large bowl of pho was more like a small bowl you could get anywhere else. I would have been happier if I walked down the street and ate at the McDonald’s instead. My wife ordered a dry vermicelli dish with a skewer of mystery meat and a spring roll. Overall, it was better than the pho dish that I had, but nothing worthy of a repeat visit. Presentation on this dish, however, was nice. Be warned that there may be a small puddle of water at the bottom of this dish even before you add the small bowl of fish sauce. This is usually a result of not properly draining the vermicelli or accompanying lettuce properly. One of the reviews on here mentions that the rare beef noodle soup is bad and I would agree with this assessment 100%.The restaurant was maybe 65% to capacity and it took over 20 minutes for our food to arrive, which is way too long a wait for sub par food. I could have eaten some sushi next door, come back, and would still be waiting for my food. It was a hot day and they had the doors open, which means that they either didn’t have A/C or were too cheap to use it. With that being said, we also noticed what looked like a frosting covered cake for sale and on display in a glass cake dome on their counter. As it was hot and because the inside of the restaurant was exposed to the outside and subject to warmer conditions, we were surprised that the cake was not refrigerated.
