Waste of time. I went in for lunch today we went to sit in the area closest to the outside because it was quiet and nice we sat for a good twenty minutes before seeing a waitress and they had directed a huge group to sit near us it was so loud we couldn’t even have a conversation after just over an hour of being there we got our food which really wasn’t very good at all and our waitress was just rude the entire time I had to ask 3 times for a container for the food and was ignored when I went in to ask for the bill. Horrible service mediocre food. First and last time I’ll ever be visiting the jolly Miller.
What a garbage dump
Mexican Mondays. I come here often on Monday nights for super cheap but really good Mexican! Their soft tacos are $1.50, but actually really nice! And personal nachos for $2.50, and you get more toppings, including beef and cheese and peppers and tomatoes, than most actual restaurants I have been to!Can’t comment on the rest of the menu, but I would go back any Monday!
Always have good service. The food is good & the atmosphere is the typical sports bar type. Only had a rude hostess once, who insisted that I was underage after I provided my 2 pieces of ID. She insisted so much that she ended up spitting a bit on me in the process while raising her voice (it was a loud Friday night) …. I provided another piece of ID & she didn’t bother us again & our server was very nice & pleasant. Could have done without the spit from the hostess but that was accidental -_- still gross, but the yummy appetizers & food made up for that.
Waitresses bad attitude, moved table 3 times. Gave attitude when asking for drinks with not understanding what we wanted. Fortunately for her, we enjoy the live music but no tip for you.Sorry Shelley but improve your people skills before working in a pub.
I’ll pass.. thanks. Okay.. where to start..Perhaps with saying Chilliwack really NEEDS a nice pub! Finally made to the JM, a few months ago after hearing about it for years from numerous people .. Went on a Friday evening for the dinner special.. My LORD!! The food was served on a buffet table , which was fine, but the display of food was no better than at a barn dance. I had great expectations of this place, having heard so much about it.. I was NOT expecting to see customers sitting on while resin lawn chairs inside the resturant.. Please Mr. JM, update & clean up the place. This place has the potential to be a great pub but the decor & cleanliness is horrid! As for the food, it is bland, nothing special, presentation is ‘old school’ at best.. I’m not expecting 5 star service or presentation as it is a pub.. but it is 2013 ! The staff, albeit it was busy that night, Im sure they are fine in service, on a slow night.. .. but there was one young blond girl who was so rude to a few customers..She almost pushed an older man from his chair trying to squeeze by to get to another table.. Again, I realize this place is a pub, but some staff should really dress more appropriate .. I dont need to see certain unmentionables while eating We will not go back.. sadly & extremely disappointed in the JM..
Good food…. Atrocious service ….. Nuff said!
