Came here for lunch on a rainy day. I tried the laksa udon. For the price, the portion was reasonable. The udon was reasonable, and the ingredients were ok. The broth was a little too oily for my liking.

I was in a hurry for a quick lunch. I overheard that a new sushi place had opened up on university blvrd. I couldn’t help but check it out. The sushi scene around this part of ubc just sucks. Living on the west coast, sushi is a big part of my life. I was hoping this new joint steps up their game.I walked in on a rainy day and was pleasantly surprised by their grab and go stations. They have a good assortment of rolls and drinks. Best of all is the price. If you got 5 bucks to tie you over for your next class your set! Good value, decent sushi, fresh made daily. I recommend this place over Honor roll any day. If you don’t feel like spending 10 bucks or more at the delly, this place is a good option. My friends get bored of sandwiches at times, this place is their alternative. My favourite part of this place is their hot side items. During lunch they are cooking on the go. There was a huge line up but it wasn’t that bad. I waited 2 minutes at the most. The only downside is waiting in the rain if it’s busy, so make sure you have a umbrella handy, or just wear a rain coat like me daily.
