Very unique spot near UBC for lunch only. Excellent views of the mountains and an upscale feel. The menu is also interesting and creative. The service here was phenomenal too. Our server was very honest with helping us choose some items. I had the Sturgeon and my guest had the ribs. He said they were delicious. I wouldn’t get the Sturgeon again, however the server specifically said not to get it, but I had to try it. It was fishy and too fatty. I’m definitely going back to try the salmon. They also have a great Tapas menu. Lots of options at this spot.

Just letting everyone know that Sage is closed until September 2013 due to seismic upgrading of the building it is in. I work at UBC right by it, and so many people still don’t know about its temporary closure.
Oasis in a food desert. Yeah, it is way beyond the average student budget, but this is a fine dining experience, with careful service, imaginative food pleasantly displayed, and an olde club atmosphere, with simply spectacular views on sunny days. Contemporary cuisine with a good value to price ratio. Oggle it, kids, as you earn your medical and law degrees: someday you’ll be able to eat there.
