On Tuesday’s, they have half price original burgers. There’s a huge line outside the restaurant, so it’s pretty popular for the cheap price. The patty tastes off and the burger itself is quite tasteless. The fries were really soggy, so it definitely wasn’t a great meal. The meal was a very decent price though, under $9 for the whole meal. Probably won’t be back- would rather spend more at The Nest for a decent meal.
I went to Triple O’s on UBC campus at around 7pm. I got a Bacon cheddar burger and yam fries. I took my food to study in the library, which is only a one minute walk away. Everything was cold… not even warm. Cold. The bun was cold, the patty was cold, my yam fries were cold. I got my food pretty fast, so my guess is that the food was sitting there for a while before I ordered. Super disappointed.The patty was the coldest part of the burger… what the heck?! Like it was colder than it is outside and it’s November?!?!?!?!? Going to A&W is worth the walk…

The beef patty was juicy (like the way I always like in burger), the bun was great, not bready or dense, and amazed with its signature pickle on top.The burger is kind big, so it’s goint to have a little problem to fit it into your mouth and not being able to put it down once you’ve started.The server was nice and smiley. It’s going to be some long line during lunch time. But it’s worth to wait for your hungry stomach!Enjoy! Selamat makan!
okay, so 5 only for garlic parmesan cheese fries! Love’em!! They don’t have anything vegetarianthough I just visit only for fries :PFries are flavorfulwith melted parmesan !
Overall, service was fine and it was surprisingly quick. HOWever,I ordered a large yam fries (which is what I normally get) and they gave me a side sized one. Also it was only lukewarm. DUDE!! NOT COOL!!! Not sure if the menu changed or it’s just that small now. Disappointing. The yam fries tasted alright, there just weren’t many of them. Also They used to give me 2 chipotle sauces (which I adore) and they only tossed me 1. and being the Canadian that I am, I was too polite to ask for another one.I tried my friend’s normal fries and they didn’t taste salted. What is wrong with the service?. I asked for a CUP of water to fill up at the soda fountain with my burger and fries and the woman insisted I combo up for a better deal. I beg to differ because she charged me for a BOTTLE of water after I specifically asked for a cup to fill up at the soda fountain. I know it’s a 40 cent difference but I don’t feel good being deceived by a cashier at a fast food restaurant. noshandnibble.blog
