Went here with a Brazilian friend of mine as I was curious to experience authentic Brazilian cuisine. Since I had never done so before, having an actual Brazilian tag along made things much less confusing haha. Our coxina chicken dumplings were perfect! I just wish the dumplings themselves were a bit bigger. Next we had feijoada (black beans pork stew) and the side dishes were farofa (toasted cassava flour), rice (perfectly seasoned with garlic), kale (also with garlic) , vinaigrette (the onion and tomato in vinegar), and a slice of orange. The former is traditionally eaten after heavy meals in Brazil to help settle the stomach. We washed down all this fried meat with… you guessed it alcohol! More specifically caipirinha (lime, sugar and cachaa) aka the Brazilian answer to a mojito. Wonderful little cafe with amazing food and great service! Just expect to cough up a little dough because this place definitely isn’t the cheapest.
