Really disappointing. Stopped in to order 2 small pizzas for takeout tonight. Tried the lamb & the masala chicken. Lamb pizza was bland, no flavor ar all – while the chicken on the masala was overspiced to the point of being almost gritty. No flavor, either, just gritty masala spice. On top of this, the crust was really chewy, not crisp at all – seemed underbaked. These wouldn’t have been dealbreakers if it was only one issue, but all three plus the fact that 2 small pizzas ran me $32 means that’s a hard pass from now on. There’s much better pizza to be had on the Drive for that price. No fuego!
Great place if you want some funky, original pizza flavours with a dash of quantity & freshness on top!Its not a thick bread type pizza, so you eill taste the bounty of toppings each slice comes with. Granted I like my pizza thin bread, I would have liked a little more chew in it than I got. But I would take this over any thick crust any day.Few of the toppings include cheese but parmesan can be added after a quick toast from the oven. It would have be nice to have a little olive oil as an option too.
Best pizza I’ve ever had! The thin, crispy crust and soft middle just blew me away! They have a long queue but very responsive service. Try the Italian and Lamb, superb!
I’m not a big fan of pizza but I could be convinced if the choice is Fire Pizza. The pizza is so good and the ingredients are fresh and in big chunks. Tried the stir fry pizza and it’s so good . There’s lots of broccoli, spinach, mushrooms and potatoes on top. Must go and it’s inexpensive too !
Pretty tasty pizza … My favourite is too take slices to go then heat at home, Variety slices, spinach and feta, sausage and honey mustard, capicallo, also lots of veggie options
Honestly shocked at the bad reviews. Any pizza place in the vicinity does not compare to the quality and price of Fire Pizza! I would call myself a regular and I’ve never had an average-or-less quality slice from here before. You guys are the best!! And thank you for staying open so much later than the others as well!! 🙂
I used to hold this place on a pedestal. This was my go-to pizza place when I got drunk on Commercial Drive, but now I’ve found that Pizza Garden, Numero Uno, and Uncle Fatih’s all do better pizza. Especially Pizza Garden (that sh*t is foodgasmic).Still, its pretty good, and I’d definitely be back if I was in the vicinity.I had a slice of the Butter Chicken pizza, and the Beef and Blue Cheese pizza. Both were okay, but the other places I listed (even Megabite) did it better. brewji.blogspot.com
