This place was highly recommended by a close friend TL i ordered the Tomato Coconut Soup,Makanik(lamb sausages)with brown spiced rice and the Spinach Dip the soup was extremely tasty the sausage was YUM-O i found the rice to be very bland with not much flavour(maybe it’s my tastebuds)the Spinach Dip is out of this world delish can i buy a gallon to go. The service was fantastic and very attentive 5 stars now it’s my turn to highly recommend this place
We stumbled across Jamjar on a walk and have been going back ever since. They make all their dips in house – its some of the smoothest stuff Ive ever had. You can even grab some to go (and bring back the jar for a discount the next time). Their shared plates are a good size and there are many options for vegans and vegetarians. Jamjar also has a hummus special thats constantly changing so make sure you get a taste of that!
Delicious! Super fresh ingredients and tons of vegan options! The cauliflower is a must try, I would eat it everyday if possible haha. The falafel is amazing as well. If you go for lunch the platters are fantastic and very filling!
Absolute ripoff, I ordered +$60 worth of take out and couldn’t believe how small the portions were. We ordered the hummus trio which came with no pita or veg for dipping. The falafel and shrimp dishes were both $15 and came with 6 pieces each. The half head of fried cauliflower was soggy, greasy and drenched in oily sauce. I’m super let down considering how many people rave over the quality of food here. Spend your money elsewhere
Awesome fresh Lebanese restaurant with great food and drinks. The menu is set up great and has loads of variety. You can pick and choose many different salads and mezzes to go with a handful of different platter. Great spot and I can’t wait to return.
Wow, the food is great. Consistently surprising and solid presentation. Love the rustic charm of the place. The decor feels like a trip to a quaint local bistro in the upscale middle east city. Biggest complaint of late has been atrocious service, waited 40 minutes for a lunch when there were only 4 other tables occupied (due to a printer failure in the kitchen). Last night we waited 30 minutes for all the components of a simple meal of multiple small plates to be painstakingly delivered in dribs and drabs with me getting something and then my partner getting one thing, we both ended eating separately. Hot sausages served on there own 15 minutes before anything else, no other plates, no salads, no bread offered, and dips not delivered with the appropriate courses. Both times they apologised but never once offered any other comp. If they want to survive food quality alone won’t save them. Get your act together guys and if you screw up do the right thing, don’t just talk about why the problem is occurring, I don’t give a toss why you’re having problems. Please save yourselves and get your service up to scratch.
Awesome cocktails and excellent middle eastern dips and vegan dishes. The atmosphere is modern, trendy yet still inviting and the service is attentive, genuine, but not over bearing. Their burnt cauliflower isn’t as good as Nuba’s, however their dips were and potentially even better. Texture of the spinach and red pepper dip was luxurious and the baba ganoush had the smokey flavour I remember from my mom’s recipe. What’s more I was completely stuffed and sipping an awesome orange mohito for under $35 including tip. I’ll come back!
