Good sushi with reasonable price. The service was poor. 2 of my coworkers and I went there for lunch. It took more than 10′ that they came to take our order. That’s not it… We got our food more than 10′ away from each other! And we asked for bill… Another 10’… We asked for machine to pay… Gosh no! We took the after long time waiting for the server to come back to us… I like to go back for the food it self. But! I willAsk for the bill at the same time I order my food! to save time
Not fresh!. I came here to try their sashimi and individual pieces of sushi and have to say nothing tasted fresh. The wild salmon sashimi was kind of warm and tasted funny. The jumbo roll they had was very dry, the deep fried yam on top of the sushi was dry and same with the cooked salmon salmon inside the roll. Not impressed. porkninjas.ca
It’s not bad and it’s not great either. It’s good but obviously the owner/chef isn’t aware that the sushi rice needs to be seasoned. So if anyone speaks Vietnamese, please suggest the chef/owner to season the rice.
Go to place. Amazing sushi place with the friendliest staff. My boyfriend and I go here about once a week and get their Combo deals, they are simply to die for and so cheap I don’t know how they do it. We both like simple sushi – california, tuna, salmon and yam tempura rolls – and Kawa does a great job of making it fresh and in large portions! The restaurant itself is small and very clean, and their pictures of the special rolls are very well-done. The best thing is that they pay the taxes if you dine-in so go give Kawa Sushi a try! 🙂
