I really love their beef and tendon Szechuan noodle soup.. And the Xiao long Bao are juicy goodness! I have only been for lunch, so we will have to try the dinner sometime soon

Haven’t been to this place for over 10 years. I used to like their Chinese donuts a lot. Too bad they don’t serve it during dinner time. Food quality is great just like the old days and the price is really reasonable. We paid less then $20 per person.

Surprisingly good! We had wanted to try out the Japanese place around the corner, but they were completed full for the night. So we decided to try out NingTu- so glad we did! They have Peking duck for a very affordable price (duck prepared 2 ways; 1 Peking duck, 1 lettuce wrap: $30 ish).Their hot and sour noodles were actually decently spicy, and their xiao long bao wasn’t bad. Juicy! Will come back 🙂 karenklee.com

My girlfriend and I literally just finished lunch here. Service is on par and friendly. We ordered the salted soy bean soup and it’s delicious. It’s big enough to share for two people and it’s $2.50. You can have it hot or cold. Then we got the sticky rice with donut and pickled cabbage. Very nicely done. Then the Shanghai soup dumplings, very tasty. It was a nice lunch and the bill came to 13 bucks after taxes, not too shaby. I would love to come again and try other items

I’ll keep this short & sweet…. this place serves awesome food for such great prices!! I would’ve rated this place a solid 4 had the owner invested in upgrading the washrooms!! Comfy seating and quite kid friendly… service is always good too!

Red bean pancake dessert. This dessert was served piping hot from frying and gratis (we had ordered a lot for lunch 🙂 The red bean paste was chunky and sweet and oozing out of the crisp thin pancake which encased it. My favourite dish of the meal!01 Jan, 2012Xiao long bau. The xiao long bau are pretty good here…the dumplings filled with pork filling have soup in them and the dumpling rests on a thin slice of carrot to protect its contents from being lost in the steaming process. It also allows the diner to pick up the dumpling without having the soup explode all over the place or stick to the bamboo steamer. The skin is okay but not the thinnest I’ve had. cakeonthebrain.blogspot.com

I’ve got five words for Ningtu: Five Dollar Tan Tan Mein. If you can appreciate those words then check out Ningtu for a cheap East Van alternative to the fancier (nicer dcor) more expensive Shanghai restos in Richmond.
