Vegetarian options available. My work place is on the same block so I visit the restaurant often. I’m a vegetarian and I’m glad they have vegetable broth Pho with lots of vege and tofu. Service is very fast and friendly. Also, they make very good ice coffee.
Decent pho. My go-to pho place in the Main/Fraser area. Pho is decent but won’t impress pho snobs. Large pho dac biet is $7.50, which is among the cheapest in the area. There’s quite a few tables, so we never need to wait for a seat.
You have to know what a place is known for. This restaurant is famous for their duck vermicelli and dry vermicelli noodles. They are not famous for pho. Bun Mang Vit is the duck and bamboo noodles. You dip the duck in a sweet ginger sauce and the soup stock is clear and tasty. The dried noodles with varieties of meats/spring rolls or seafood are really good too. Please don’t go to this restaurant and eat pho and say this restaurant sucks. They also use less MSG here. You can tell if your throat tightens up if they have a lot of MSG.
Indifferent service, ok food. Have eaten here a few times, both when packed and whrn mostly empty, funny thing, got indifferent service both x! after last x, have not been back! eaten elsewhere with better food/service!
Best Spicy Beef Noodle (bun Bo hue) in town. Really good spring rolls also. Reasonably priced. My husband and I eat here at least once a week.
Good mom & pop joint for authentic vietnamese fare. good rice dishes as well as pho.
