A decent nice local restaurant with huge meal portion. However, we had to wait an hour to get out food, and it’s not that busy. They seriously need to hire more people. On the other hand, the food is okay. Ordered Tostadas barbacoa, a good ol taco as appetizers. And Cielo Mar y Tierra, a huge portion main course for two. You’ll get a grilled chicken, a grilled thin beef steak and a stack of prawns. Too bad the prawns were not a auspices they had to replace it with extra chicken. It’ll come with fresh half avocado and guacamole. The guacamole could use a bit of spicy and cilantro though. Other thing if you come here, get the window seat. The place is extremely hot inside during summer.
In the heart of the drive, is a little hole in the wall that serves the best El Salvador food. I’ve been going here for over a decade now. Love Jose and Anna. The carne taquito’s is very flavourful as the beef is seasoned to perfection. The pupusa’s are the money maker. This is what keeps me coming back. Finish it off with the flan and my night is made. Music is great and atmosphere is casual. I just wished I lived closer but that might be a good thing.

This place has unbelievable food. Everything comes out fresh and hot and prepared with love. The papusas are a must have as well as their lime Margarita! Only downside is the service is very slow, however well worth the wait and the prices are extremely reasonable.
Went there on a Saturday and they were closed. So if you’re planning on going, I suggest you call them before driving 30 minutes with a screaming child only to get there and it being closed. This is a good restaurant, but this is really irritating.
The food was ok. I recommend the Yuca fries but the chip & guacamole was kind of a let down. The shrimp dish I got was overcooked.Additionally, when asking what we wanted to drink, the waiter straight up asked us if we wanted pineapple or tamarind juice, pretty much giving us no option of water. We felt too awkward to ask so ended up paying $5 for drinks we really didn’t want in the first place. Definitely not coming back. thehappysloths.com
