Their portion is super great for the price, the giant rolls are well designed and super fresh, I recommend the giant crispy rolls or Hawaiian rolls, the presentation is like high end hotels and it is a good idea to go there with your date 🙂

Points for decorative creativity. But I found their spicy rolls to be sweet which is strange. The people here do seem to care about the food but I dont think their take on sushi is for me.

One of my favourites! It tends to be quite busy, and it’s a small space, but I haven’t really experienced the bad service that everyone seems to have issue with. The rolls are delicious, the presentation is adorable (super cute ceramic figurines, small cups of dry ice in water, artistic writing and pictures on the plate itself) I think the staff put a lot of effort and love into each plate they serve and it shows. This visit we ordered the Rocky Mountain roll, which is SO good, assorted sashimi A, and I always have a piece of Tamago nigiri and inari. Their tamago here is unique in comparison to other sushi places as its quite custard, almost dessert like, which is so yummy! I would, and have, recommended this place to anyone.

The menu on here is not current. It’s changed. The food is decent. Unfortunately they put imitation crab in nearly all their rolls- sucks for those who can’t eat shellfish.

I found out about this place when I first saw snaps of their food on my snapchat. I was surprised at the portion of their giant rolls and how cheap it was. Came here on a weekday afternoon around 3-4pm and luckily there was no lineup. I ordered their Philadelphia roll and giant dynamite roll. I couldn’t even finish half of the rolls so I had to take it to go but since then this place has become one of my favourite Japanese restaurants in Vancouver. The second time I came here I tried their spicy salmon sashimi. Their sashimi was good but it was small portion for like $12? I also tried their seafood teriyaki but it wasn’t really good. It tasted weird. I liked their beef tataki and the grilled squid. They have sangria and cocktails at this restaurant but their sangria is really ghetto. I ordered a pitcher of the red sangria and they served it with apples and oranges. The presentation wasn’t pleasing but the drink was really good. It tasted like juice so I drank almost the whole pitcher but there’s still alcohol so I started getting buzzed after the meal. This place is really popular on the weekend so if you want to enjoy the full experience of this restaurant. Go on a weekday afternoon 🙂
