This has to be the worst pad Thai the universe has to offer. Nothing but Greasy noodles slimed in a watered down ketchup sauce with a few cold prawns slipping around the inside of the dish. Crusty tofu and soggy peanuts littered the edge of the container. A smidgen of crispy egg swirled around the noodles that were not stuck together in a clumpy mess. Sad and nasty.
Worst….Pad….Thai…EVER.. Wow, the 3 prawn Pad Thai was soaked in ketchup. Absolutely disgusting. The vegetable dish was low grade. Rice was OK. This was our second bad experience here after a brutal take out order last year where they forgot our order, kept us waiting 40 minutes, and then gave us tiny portions at full restaurant pricing. This place should be dog food $5.00 a dish prices based on quality of ingredients, cooking, and service. Yet they charge full prices. Not authentic, nasty quality control, never going back.
Good Stuff. Food came very quickly and was tasty. Staff was very friendly and kind. Brought out a small bowl of soup for us while we waited. Definitely would go back.
Oh, I just remembered one of the main reasons why I will not be going back. The place was FILTHY. I found eating it out on the patio more sanitary10 Jul, 2014I had lunch at this place today, I was very disappointed. I ordered the L4 fried rice with pineapple, vegetables, egg and your choice of tofu, chicken or shrimp. I got exactly what I ordered except I did not receive a single vegetable on my plate. It tasted ok but it wasn’t anything I couldn’t whip together in about 15 min. Wasn’t impressed whatsoever, won’t be going back.
It was just okay. The roo…. It was just okay. The room was muggy and hot due to the sunny weather. After I was seated I noticed that the menu, in my opinion, was very limited. The first page was 10-15 combos and the second page had some appy/salad/soup offerings. I was disappointment to see that there was no Yum Yoon Sen (glass noodle salad with prawns) since I had been craving it all day. In any case I felt stuck since I didn’t want a combo. I ordered the beef salad and a cup of the tom yum soup. The soup broth was nice. My salad came out and I found it to be one note and not spicy at all. The lettuce was chopped in a sloppy manor (so some were large leaves and some were small). The beef didn’t have much flavor; just lime. I was disappointment since I expected a thai style beef salad. I felt more like a Vietnamese dish. In any case the service was nice and I thought my meal was fairky priced. I may come back if someone suggests it but I prefer Bua Thai across the street for the full menu offering and in my opinion more authentic flavors.
Great food, great service, cheap beer. I eat here weekly and I am never disappointed.
Five stars? Really? EVERY order was wrong and after we left I realized we had been overcharged. Probably for one of the 4 orders that was wrong. The server couldn’t speak English. I would not trust these people at all of you have an allergy or are vegetarian. To say it was disappointing would be the understatement of the year. To then be overcharged on the bill is an outright sleep in the gave after a horrible experience. Minus five stars
