the male owner very rude and humiliating, DISRESPECTING CUSTOMERS AND staff , we had reservation weeks before father`s day we did arrived on time to find out that he forgot to reserve a table, asked us to go and Waite outside on the street in very rude and disgusting way ,threatening to call the police if we dont go outside i am filing a complain with BB and will be on the news soon. more review from one of our guest was with us too:Horrible service; table that was reserved over a week in advance had another family seated there when we arrived. We were told that we had to wait outside in the cold for them to finish before we could be served. The owner was disrespectful in the way that he handled us, instead of being accommodating and polite about the inconvenience. He refused to apologize even once and did not have the customer in mind at all while he was dealing with us, which lead to us simply taking our business somewhere much better.Within the first 30 seconds of entering that building, we left with no intention of returning. Embarrassing, laughable and frankly disgusting service. Shameful.

Their dishes may be a tad bit on the pricier side, but the quality is definitely there and comes freshly made (you can see chefs making the dishes right at the front), so I think that the dishes aren’t overpriced at all. The portions are good for the price, and the service is amazing!! Make sure to try their pita and hummus appetizer, along with the chicken kebab and lentil dish. The ambience is great, and is definitely a place I would come to again with friends or family.

Randomly dropped into this place and was PLEASANTLY surprised by EVERYTHING. I got the Warak and the salad. It was amazing. My only complaint is that I wish I got more! I also tried a new beer that I have never had and discovered my new favorite beer at the same time! 🙂 I highly recommended checking this place out.

I looked all around Vancouver for kanafe. I found the best kanafe here. They serve it by piece only but whatever.. Soo good

After a really disappointing night out at a new Turkish restaurant in the West End, my wife suggested coming here tonight, a reliable favorite, to get our Eastern Mediterranean fix. Yay…They are once again open for business after some renos.I’m no expert on Palestinian food, but almost everything that I’ve tried since we started coming here has been delicious. Service is good. It’s a small three person front of house, but friendly and well organized. Tonight’s specials were fried cauliflower appy and stuffed potatoes for the main. We ordered both and the freekeh with roast lamb. The cauliflower was lightly seasoned with cumin, served with pita and a zesty lemon and yogurt dip. Yummy flavours, but a touch greasy. The freekeh is delicious every time. The roast lamb was tender, perfectly seasoned, and served in its own yummy jus. It also had a side of refreshing pickled red cabbage salad. No complaints about this dish. The potatoes were stuffed with ground beef, served with rice pilaf and beet salad. The stuffed potatoes were good, the beef was nicely seasoned and was served piping hot. But, I found the rice to be on the salty side. I also did not like the green peppers in the rice, it added bitterness. They are lacking in the dessert department, I would skip the sweets here next time. All in all, I was very happy with dinner tonight. Got my Med fix!

The hummus was the best I’ve ever tasted! It had a green parsley sauce with it that was a bit spicy and just added a lot of good flavour to the dish! I also ordered a rice and lentil dish, which wasn’t bad. There was a party going on and the place was very packed. It was cozy, but very loud and cold. My friend enjoyed the lamb dish a lot. beingtazim.com

Midweek visit. Food simple, fresh, quite attractively presented, but little flavor. Odd selection of music playing in the background, did not add anything.Service spotty
