I’m writing a review based on their catering service which we had at my workplace. The panini I had was amazing and the salad mix was quite fancy too. The bread was fresh and very soft. The chicken was tender and went really well with the veggie in it. The salad came with Raspberry Vinnagrette which was not too overly sweet, but more in the tangy side which I like. This prompted me to want to check want out the Cafe which I will hopefully will get to soon.
I’m suspicious of how much food is *actually* made on premises as their desserts/cookies/bagels/breads/etc are clearly store-bought. Its horribly overpriced for what you get. I got sick from eating there (pretty sure they didn’t clean the sprouts and lettuce). Staff aren’t friendly or all that efficient.
I’ve tried this place 3 times. And have been disappointed every time. I wanted it to work out since it is So close to my work, but I will not be going back again.1) it just opened and I wanted something sweet. I ended up getting a brownie – it was delicious but I was surprised because they were the exact same brownies the grocery store I used to work at sold. I expected a catering company to make their own food for their cafe? 2) the sandwiches sounded good so I got a California cruiser – turkey with sprouts, lettuce tomato onion, cheese and sundried tomatoe cream cheese – the cream cheese was an inch thick on both pieces of bread, it was overwhelming, I only ate half, and it was expensive!3) I thought I would try again. The Jack Daniels BBQ Beef Sandwich Roasted Beef, Aged Cheddar, Jack Daniels BBQ sauce and LTO – the beef was absolutely flavorless and dried out, there was so much overpowering sauce that everytime I took a bite it spilled out everywhere. There was very little shredded cheese sprinkled in it, the beef was about 35% gristley fat that I couldn’t chew through. And minor issue but the tomato was barely ripe and was not ready to be eaten. Again – at about 7$ – too expensive for such a disappointing sandwich. Especially when I can only stomach half of it.
