I seem to always end my nights at commercial here. I always find you can’t go wrong with taking your company over to Charlatan. Something about this place makes everyone within the place a little more friendly as well. Great drink options and burgers are decent. Could use a little more staff around though. Friday nights are great here!
Used to be good has gone down hill I would suggest triple checking reservations as they might give it away to a bigger party. Manager was not professional at all. When there is a problem you deal with it you don’t hide from the customer. After bragging about how good this place was this last time has changed my mind. Won’t be going anymore
I came here for lunch with a friend, was seated right away but not greeted by hostess till 10 mins later. Friend ordered a brunch with toast and her toast came completely burnt. I ordered the kahuna burger, the tuna was still a little frozen, and not to mention our food took 30mins to come to the table. Not coming back.
I Enjoy the Charlatan. Decent food for a pub and great specials all week long. The atmosphere is pretty laid back and the servers are sassy enough to be fun and efficient enough to keep your thirst quenched. Try the burger and a pint of Driftwood.
I have never had such bad service and met such rude waitress. The Charlatan was my favourite.. it is changed by the waitress today. Never I will go back.
Great atmosphere amazing double caesars. People make the ambiance of a place and this place is loud and wonderful to hang out with friends, They have a great selection of beer on tap and amazing Caesars. Food is great, sometimes it is really good but sometimes it is just acceptable, It depends on the chef on shift i guess, very good service for a pub/bar we get constantly checked on drinks and water. A great place on Commercial Drive
Good place for a brew. Like going to this place for the game sometimes! They have a really nice veggie burger and their daily specials are great!
