Worst service I have ever experienced in Metro Vancouver. It is a shame to the Chinese community to have a Chinese server with such impolite attitude towards their customers.
The Top Cantonese Cuisine Restaurant is located on Kingsway Vancouver, which is right across the street from Purdy Chocolate Faculty. The location is convienence for people to find and easier for them parking. Ive been the restaurant once with friends on my boyfriends birthday. We arrived the restaurant around 6pm. It was very busy at that time. Luckily, we made a reservation before we came. We skipped the huge line and got a table fast.ServiceThe servers here were all Chinese. They were friendly and helpful. They took an order fast and served water quick.EnvironmentThe restaurant is big. There are many Chinese Style decorations on the wall.FoodWeve ordered lots of dishes. All the dish were in Cantonese Style from the Southern part of China. They came fast. They were well cooked and tasted fresh.PriceThe price of the food was a little bit expensive. food.belindajin.com
I have been there before and was there couple days a ago. The server’s attitude is not good. It seems like he does not like to serve us and cannot answer our questions about the menu. Paid the food at restaurant price but get the quality worse than food court!
Good dim sum. Was disappointed that they don’t have the carts to go round with the dim sum, but I liked the large and varied menu, so it gets a passing grade from me. Since this is a Cantonese restaurant, and since Cantonese is somewhat louder than Mandarin, AND since this is another one of those hugely popular Chinese restaurants, prepare yourself for the nearly deafening chatter beyond those burly doors. You might want to bring an extra cushion and a mobile device, because the wait time is long and you shall likely be sitting on those rock hard seats for a while longer than you expect.
Awful customer service for large parties and busy times. Meal for 7 people took over 2 hours for the first dish to even appear. Explanation? They were busy and since we didn’t order a set dinner it’ll take longer. We also had a baby and were walking him around to settle him. Mom was physically pushed out of the way! Families do yourself a favor and avoid.
I like it here! The owners are friendly, and service is impeccable. Food is also above average, though sometimes overly salty, but I especially like the soup in the melon pot (must pre-order/reserve). It’s a nice restaurant for higher-end, classy chinese food, and you can tell from the attention from the waiters.
