I’ve been craving bo nhung dam (beef vinegar hot pot) for a while, having last had it at home with family in Melbourne. Ventured to Vietnam House specifically for this dish and was not disappointed. The waitress/owner was very friendly, warning me the dish might be a little big for one person (which I assured her would not be a problem whatsoever). The large bowl of lettuce/greens had all my favourite herbs, there was a good portion of fresh raw beef, and the mam nem (anchovy dipping sauce) was just perfect!! Priced at $19.50 which is excellent value too. Chatted to the owner and found out she has only opened the restaurant last December. If this is the quality of their bo nhung dam, I can’t wait to be back to try the rest of their dishes. Definitely recommend for authentic and tasty Vietnamese!
