Video review on youtube: vancity food crew western lake chinese seafood restaurant.I tried this place for dim sum because of its good reputation. I was severely disappointed. I had the shrimp dumplings, which were large and tasted fine. I tried beef meatballs for the first time, didn’t care for that. The deep fried dumplings took so long that I had finished the first two and sat for 15 minutes until it was ready. By then I needed to head to work so I cancelled them, they were cool about that. Service ranges from one person treating you nicely while other people act as if you are bothering them. People like the jumbo sized dim sum but I feel its quantity over quality. Prices were fair but I wouldn’t go back under any circumstances.
