presentation beautiful! my husband had the grilled pork and vermicelli dish….flavor lacking…..on the other hand I ordered the pad thai which I have ordered in the past at other Vietnamese restaurants and have been very good. I know why order pad thai dish at a Vietnamese restaurant?? At other restaurants I have enjoyed the Vietnamese twist. Do not order the pad thai!! it had bitter saucy noodles….what a disappointment….! I took two bites and asked to return it. We still had to pay for half the dish. it’s really too bad. It’s unfortunate. I have never asked for a refund or have had to return a dish before at any restaurant I have been at.
Excellent Vietnamese a pleasant surprise in an unlikely place like Vernon. Compares very well with Van and California. Dozens of menu items. Pho, vermicelli, and Vietnamese rice are all very good. Service is the downside and needs to improve. Maybe Obama and Bourdain will eat there soon!
Beautiful presentation but talk about salty! Ordered the pork vermicelli with springs rolls to go. The presentation itself looked great, and for take out Iwouldn’t expect much. The spring rolls were good, filled with a lot of stuff. I personally didn’t love the taste but I’m not deducting points for that as overall they were good but just not for me. The pork on the other hand, SALTY! So much so I only ate a few bites. Good size portions. If you like salt you will like this place and I would go back and try another type of bowl with different meat as maybe they were having an off day.
Limited seating but you can make a reservation for your return visit. Sizable well-prepared portions and decent service from this budding restaurant.
Have eaten here several times. Food is consistently good, and service is decent. I just moved here from Vancouver and the food here is right on par with the Vietnamese food in Van. One of my favourites is the house vermicelli.
Great food nice large portions!! Great service unless u get a lady the men there are awesome but the hired woman are rude and hang up the phone if u legit dont start talking as they are talking and they are not great servers either but go anyway hopefully they will fired soon all the Vietnamese staff is great.
one of the best Vietnamese food in BC probably better than anything in llower mainland within this price rangefresh ingredients, very customized dishes not your typical modular asian cuisineI havent been to Vietnam but looks quite authentic to meIt might take longer to get your food ready but I think that can be a good sign.Portions are huge with a generous amount of proteins.I hope they keep up the quality food
